Eurovision Song Contest 2025

Quite Simply, the most chatter on one night in 2024, on our 'Football' WhatsApp Group, wasn't football related but came on Eurovision Night, when Ireland completely split opinions, and none of us fancied The UK.

After our meet up in January this year, there was a request for a one night only contest.​  So here goes.  It's going to be very straight forward, Guess who will finish in the top four.  You'll get 100% of the points scored by your first choice, 75% of the points scored by your second choice, 50% by your third, and, yep you guessed it 25% of your fourth.

 

Also you will Predict who will come last.  But, beware, as YOU WILL LOSE 100% of any points they score.

Then have a few guesses at how many 10's & 12's the UK will get (thanks Cyprus), and how many 'nul points' they will receive (thanks France). Also have a guess at how many points off the top and off the bottom they will finish, and finally guess at the points spread between First and Last place.

THE DEADLINE FOR YOUR GUESSWORK TO BE WITH ME, WILL BE SATURDAY LUNCHTIME.  THIS WILL BE HELD AS YOUR 'PROVISIONAL' ENTRY.   HOWEVER, UP TO TEN MINUTES AFTER THE FINAL SONG HAS BEEN SUNG ON THE EVENING YOU WILL BE ABLE TO SEND IN REVISED GUESSWORK, WHICH WILL REPLACE THE PROVISIONAL.

YOUR TOP FOUR CHOICES WILL ALSO COUNT AS YOUR VOTES ON THE NIGHT, AND WILL BUILD OUR OWN 'RESULT' BUT ALSO FEED POINTS INTO THE OUTCOME OF THE COMPETITION.......

Come the end of the evening, whoever has the most points here will become our Eurovision Champion 2025....., There's no crown, no ceremony, but there will be a cash prize (how many places will be paid out and amounts will be confirmed once numbers taking part is known).

The Biggest Winner on the night from our Competition will be The British Heart Foundation. For everyone entering, at least £10.00 will be donated to them.
